Last week of our first half term

What a lovely week we had to end this first half term. On Thursday we done some drama in the hall to act out Om and the litttle boy from our class novel Stone Age Boy, entering the cave for the first time. We done this in pairs and prepared our vocabulary beforehand.

In Art we created our own cave paintings using only charcoal, clay and water like a true Stone Age person. We found the paintings they done were usually of the animals they hunted or told a hunting story so we tried to recreate these. What a fabulous job they did!

My learner of the week this week was Lilly Hanson for continuing to have a go even when she finds things tricky. You have really impressed me this week. Well done to you!

My Lexia legends were Shang, Ario, Bilal and Sarkar. Well done to you all!

Lastly, congratulations to all those pupils who received their bronze behaviour certificate meaning they have had 7 consistent weeks of good behaviour. Huge well done to you all.

I hope you all have a lovely half term break. Stay safe and I’ll see you on Monday 2nd November. 🎃
