Making Bell Beakers

This week we done something all of the children had been waiting for, making bell beakers! After a detailed demonstration the children got straight to it making sure they included all of their detailed patterns from their designs. They turned out great! Well done Year 3.

In school we have been looking at our Advent learning each morning which the children are thoroughly enjoying, particularly the challenges! On Friday Hugo explained to the class about Chanukah which is a Jewish celebration and showed the class a picture of him lighting the first candle. Well done Hugo it was very interesting to hear all about it.

On Friday we also enjoyed our Christmas jumper day and eating our school Christmas dinner! It definitely got us into the Christmas spirit. I’m looking forward to lots more Christmas fun next week Year 3!

My learner of the week this week was Ayesha because not only is she a great role model to have in the class in terms of behaviour and learning attitude, she is also a great role model for collaboration. Ayesha works extremely well in a group knowing the right balance between listening to others and sharing her ideas. She is always willing to help her peers with enthusiasm and has lovely relationships with others in the class. Thank you Ayesha, we are very lucky to have you in 3HL. Well done!

My TT Rockstars for last week were Ruby and Germanas for completing all of their weekly sessions. Well done!

Hope you’re having a lovely weekend. See you next week for our last week before we break up!
