The last week of school this year!

I can’t quite believe we have now finished school for the year! What a term it has been!

I am so proud and amazed with how the children have adapted to the changes and settled so well into Year 3.

The children were thrilled to hear we were having another math’s morning this week but not only that, it was also linked to Christmas!

We recapped our learning of clocks by telling the times Santa landed in different cities around the world. Some of us then discovered where he visited first and last! We also went Christmas shopping, finding the total of different items and seeing what we could buy for different amounts.

Due to CONVID restrictions this year we were unable to sing for our Christmas service so we learnt Silent Night in Makaton. Take a look below.

We ended the week making ‘Happy Holiday’ cards for our loved ones.

Well done to those who received a behaviour certificate this half term and achieved 100% attendance.

Zaina is my learner of the week this week because she has formed some lovely relationships with others this half term. You are always willing to help both children and adults in the classroom and at playtimes. What a lovely member of our class you are!

Germanas also recieved his TT rockstars certificate for completing all of his sessions. Well done to you!

Thank you for your continued support this term, I hope you have a lovely Christmas break and will see you in the New Year. School is back open on Wednesday 6th January 2021.
